What is Skaledale?
Skaledale is a timeless town or village that is full of character and life. Just like our real life towns and villages, Skaledale is always changing. There are churches of many denominations, shops, pubs, factories and houses of all shapes and sizes.
Some buildings in the vast Skaledale range have been replaced over the years with similar structures of varying designs but that is the nature of the Skaledale range. Hornby regularly add new products to the Skaledale range, so if there is something that you'd particularly like to see on your layout, then we'd highly recommend you obtain it sooner rather than later.
There have been further developments in the Skaledale range for 2010 with the addition of several new shops and even a Chinese Takeaway. Plus, later in the year there is the excellent new Great Northern Skale Regis station plus other compatible buildings including a highly detailed signal box, and engine shed and or course the obligatory Goods Shed.
